چکیده
Twisted transition metal dichalcogenide (TMD) homobilayers have recently emerged as a powerful platform for studying correlated insulating states. In the strongly limit, we construct an effective spin Hamiltonian on honeycomb lattice that includes Heisenberg interaction and nonsymmetric interactions such Dzyaloshinskii-Moriya Kane-Mele coupling Mott-insulating phase at half-filling. For twisted TMD homobilayers, spin-orbit in Hubbard model, which is expected to induce antisymmetric exchange couplings Hamiltonian, highly tunable experimentally accessible quantity can be tuned by applied electric field. this study, investigate classical quantum diagrams of using analytical numerical methods. We show model exhibits rich diagram including antiferromagnetic (AFM) phase, planar spiral ordered with high degeneracy, $z$-AFM noncoplanar noncollinear 120$^{\circ}$-AFM phase. treatment, calculate low-energy magnon excitation spectrum, ground state energy, static structure factor linear spin-wave theory density matrix renormalization group methods compose Hamiltonian. Beyond interaction, find existence these responsible liquid, $z$-AFM, noncoplanar, 120$^{\circ}$ phases. therefore, offer platforms realizing phases matter 120$^{\circ}$, resulting from coupling.

Coupled spin and valley physics in monolayers of MoS2 and other group-VI dichalcogenides.
We show that inversion symmetry breaking together with spin-orbit coupling leads to coupled spin and valley physics in monolayers of MoS2 and other group-VI dichalcogenides, making possible controls of spin and valley in these 2D materials. The spin-valley coupling at the valence-band edges suppresses spin and valley relaxation, as flip of each index alone is forbidden by the valley-contrasting...

The spin and valley-dependent anomalous Nernst effects are analyzed for monolayer MoS_{2} and other group-VI dichalcogenides. We find that pure spin and valley currents can be generated perpendicular to the applied thermal gradient in the plane of these two-dimensional materials. This effect provides a versatile platform for applications of spin caloritronics. A spin current purity factor is in...
متن کاملSpin-Orbit Twisted Spin Waves: Group Velocity Control.
We present a theoretical and experimental study of the interplay between spin-orbit coupling (SOC), Coulomb interaction, and motion of conduction electrons in a magnetized two-dimensional electron gas. Via a transformation of the many-body Hamiltonian we introduce the concept of spin-orbit twisted spin waves, whose energy dispersions and damping rates are obtained by a simple wave-vector shift ...
متن کاملAn optical spectroscopic study on two-dimensional group-VI transition metal dichalcogenides.
The ultimate goal of making atomically thin electronic devices stimulates intensive research on layered materials, in particular the group-VI transition metal dichalcogenides (TMDs). Atomically thin group-VI TMD crystals with a 2H stacking order emerging as a family of intrinsic 2-dimensional (2D) semiconductors with a sizeable bandgap in the visible and near infrared range satisfy numerous req...
